What does a GIRL do in here?
Inkeri has mostly been assisting with costuming and styling, which has basically been shopping around for super evil items and poking cast members with safety pins in very awkward places (for some reason you only ever need to take clothes in at crotch or boob area). Inkeri has luckily been saved from making coffee because she does’t know how! A useful skill if there ever was one.
What about her?
Inkeri is actually very old, but has spent the last five years shopping at ebay and therefore hasn’t gathered that much experience. She has, however graduated from a local vocational college as a media-assistant (basically meaning a glorified roadie) and interned/freelanced at a photography studio. She loves photography and other visual things, including funny pictures of cat with captions. She studied English briefly a few years ago and dabbled with social anthropology. Also has a long history of cleaning toilets for a living.
At the moment, she is a second-year-student at Oulu University for Applied Sciences, majoring in media production, though she is still debating whether she should focus on something more visual.
What do you think about Thesis of Evil?
Being a long-time fan of comic books, fantasy & science fiction, Thesis of Evil is a dream project. And as a an aspiring photographer, I’m loving the way the story is being built visually; I’ve learnt a lot about lighting and photography just by observing Juuso work. Thesis of Evil is the first production I got into as an assistant, during my studies, so it’s been an important experience and an eye-opener regarding the way these projects work, both artistically and from a producer’s point of view.
Say something smart?
“persons attempting to find a motive in this narrative will be prosecuted; persons attempting to find a moral in it will be banished; persons attempting to find a plot in it will be shot” – Mark Twain
Why? O' why?
Dr. Professor is undoubtedly a unique project in Oulu and even in Finland (maybe in the world) so it’s an honor to watch it take shape. Years from now they’ll still be talking about what we did! Sometimes watching the shoots can be pretty frustrating just because I know I’ll have to wait months to see how the story will finally look in all its glory. I definitely cannot wait!
